If you truly desire to give up smoking then Hypnosis is a valuable tool allowing the therapist to speak directly to your subconscious mind and reinforce the desire you already have to be a nonsmoker. In most cases it only takes one or two sessions lasting 60-90 minutes. However this is dependant on your desire to quit. Normally a CD of a stop smoking session will be give to you to take home to reinforce the therapy. During the first session we will use NLP to start to program into you what it will be like to be a non smoker and then use EFT to cope with the immediate craving. I normally ask you to bring a packet of cigarettes with you to the first session so that I can show you how effective EFT is in controlling the craving. Normally just a few rounds will get the craving down to a zero. I will also test to see if your subconscious mind is ready to give up because both the conscious mind and subconscious mind need to be in agreement for the treatment to be long lasting. If there is any reason why the subconscious mind is not ready to give up we will find out why and deal with it in the first session. The second session is a long very relaxing session of hypnosis which will be based on the information provided to me in the first session. A smoking questionnaire is often sent out before hand allowing you plenty of time to consider your answers in the comfort of your own home.
